Leadership

Kevin has been on staff at First Baptist Church since 1993. Through the years he has served the church in various capacities. He became Senior Pastor  in November of 2013, making him the 27th pastor of First Baptist Church.

Kevin is an avid sports fan and is well known as being the 'voice of the Florence Falcons' on local radio.

Scott joined the staff of First Baptist Church in October 2017. He has served several churches in Alabama and Georgia for the last 30+ years.

Scott has been married to his wife, Teri Lynne since 1996. They have one daughter and will soon be welcoming their first grandchild.

Lori was raised in several churches as her family moved through mid and west Tennessee. She found a love for serving with her church as an Acteen, a member of her youth choir, and as a volunteer at both Vacation Bible School and World Changers. After moving to Florence in 2010, Lori and her family fell in love with First Baptist Church, Florence. After first joining as a member, Lori began serving part time as both the Children’s Director and Nursery Coordinator in 2011.

Lori and her husband of twenty years, Dr. Cameron Gren, have enjoyed raising their three kids at First Baptist Church, Florence, with their youngest about to graduate to the youth program. In her free time, Lori enjoys volunteering at her children’s schools and as the Vacation Bible School Director for the Colbert-Lauderdale Baptist Association.

Debbie has served First Baptist Church, Florence for 20 years, starting in March 2004 as the Church Secretary/Financial Secretary.  As the church secretary, Debbie's responsibilities are much broader than anyone can imagine. From managing most of the day to day requirements needed for church operation such as payroll, monthly financial statements, accounts payable, member contributions postings, and Sunday School attendance to creating bulletins for Sunday worship service and other special events, this just skims the surface of what Debbie does each week.

Debbie has been married to her husband, Danny McGee, for 52 years. They have one son, Adam, and an adorable little Morky dog named Maddy who has been part of their family now for 13 years. Their family are members at First Methodist Church of Tuscumbia and have served the Lord there since their marriage in 1972, but she is truly blessed to have two church families, because she also considers FBC as one of her church families. In her spare time, Debbie likes to shop on Amazon, eat really good food, spend time with her family, and vacation at the beach and in the mountains.

Lynn serves as our office ministry assistant and is actively involved in the life of our church.
