Scott joined the staff of First Baptist Church in October 2017. He has served several churches in Alabama and Georgia for the last 30+ years.
Scott has been married to his wife, Teri Lynne since 1996. They have one daughter and have recently welcomed their first grandchild.

Lori was raised in several churches as her family moved through mid and west Tennessee. She found a love for serving with her church as an Acteen, a member of her youth choir, and as a volunteer at both Vacation Bible School and World Changers. After moving to Florence in 2010, Lori and her family fell in love with First Baptist Church, Florence. After first joining as a member, Lori began serving part time as both the Children’s Director and Nursery Coordinator in 2011.
Lori and her husband of over twenty years, Dr. Cameron Gren, have enjoyed raising their three kids at First Baptist Church, Florence, with two still in the youth program while her oldest now serves in the preschool program. In her free time, Lori enjoys volunteering at her children’s school programming, reading, and has recently learned to play mahjong.
